The Gateshead Housing Company Community Fund
Grants of up to £10,000 on offer in Gateshead
The Gateshead Housing Company has a fund to improve the lives of thousands of people across the borough.
The housing company’s Community Fund is offering cash and in-kind awards from £500 to £10,000 to groups across Gateshead wanting to help improve their estates and neighbourhoods.
The fund will support projects that will:
- Improve the lives of young people and young adults
- Improve the lives of older residents
- Be environmentally friendly and help to make Gateshead a 'greener', more sustainable place to live
- Benefit a whole estate or neighbourhood by involving residents of all ages joining together to make a difference.
The company’s partners Frank Haslam Milan Ltd, Gateshead Council and Morrison Facilities Services Limited have pledged support, both in money and work in-kind towards the fund, every year up to 2010.
