Tenant and residents' compacts
A number of Compacts have been negiotiated between the company and customers. The agreements set out how all tenants and leaseholders can be involved in the housing services provided by The Gateshead Housing Company. They complement the Compact developed between Gateshead Council, tenants, leaseholders and residents, which covers involvement in the delivery of its neighbourhood services.

Our Sheltered Accommodation Compact - covers the standards of service and opportunities to get involved for the borough's residents living in sheltered accommodation with warden support, and bungalow schemes with an onsite warden.
Multi-storey accommodation compact - covers the standards of service and opportuinities to get involved for the borough's residents living in multi-storey accommodation.
Major Works Compact: our commitment to you (2,257k PDF) - an agreement that is negotiated between The Gateshead Housing Company, its contractors and tenants, and sets out how tenants can be involved in the Decent Homes works that are carried out on their home.
Each of the compacts will be reviewed annually.
