A website giving young people the answers to all their housing questions has proved a major success with over 500,000 ‘hits’ since it was launched.
The website at www.mypadgateshead.co.uk contains a wealth of information to help 16 to 24 year olds make the big step of living in their own home.
The site, launched late last year, was created by The Gateshead Housing Company with the help of young people from across the borough.
Sections include leaving home, finances, looking to rent a property, the housing company’s HomeChoice lettings scheme, buying a home and much more.
