Living in Leam Lane

Leam Lane is around two miles to the east of Gateshead town centre.

Buses serve the area to both Gateshead and Heworth Interchanges, though the Metro stations of Heworth and Pelaw are around 15-minutes walk.

The centre of Leam Lane has a shopping area, including a supermarket and swimming pool.

The area is one of the largest in the borough and has a variety of properties, such as family homes, sheltered accommodation, bungalows and flats, but does not have any multi-storey accommodation.
