An Estate Tour to help us identify areas of your estate you would like to see improved in the future.

If you come on an Estate Tour you:

  • Can make a difference to your local area by walking around your estate with us
  • Can tell us what we could do to make your estate better
  • Can find out how we work with partners, such as the Police and Gateshead Council to improve estates.
  • Depending on the size of your estate, the tour will take between one and two hours.

Don't worry if you don't want to do the whole tour, you can arrange to meet up with us at any point, just contact us.

Joyce Close sheltered drop in session 28/07/2010

These informal sessions allow you ask any questions you have about your sheltered housing scheme.

By attending, you will be able to ask your Sheltered Housing Estate Officer about:

  • Developments in your area
  • The Older Persons' Service Improvement Group
  • Up and coming services for older people
  • And much more!

There will be an Estate Tour where you can look at ways to make your estate even better.  Then a drop-in session will take place on completion of the estate tour.

Disabled Persons Housing Forum 28/07/2010

The Gateshead Housing Company is asking disabled people across the borough how it can make its services even more accessible.

The Gateshead Housing Company's Disabled Persons' Housing Forum is open to any of its tenants or leaseholders that are disabled, Deaf or who have an impairment.

Customers who attend the forum will get the chance to suggest ways for the company to make its services even more accessible.

The forum has helped the company develop a kitchen designed for visually impaired customers fitted as part of its £330m home improvement programme, improved access to housing offices and improve the accessibility of some of our publications.
