Q: When will my property be improved under the Decent Homes programme?
Answer:
The Decent Homes improvement programme covers all Gateshead Council owned homes and leaseholder properties across the borough.
The Decent Homes improvements are programmed estate by estate across the five neighbourhood areas until the Government's target year of 2012.
Each year's programme runs from approximately April in one year, until March the following year.
We aim to inform customers in writing approximately six months in advance of the programme starting.
