Company Location

The Gateshead Housing Company employs almost 400 people, over half are based at its Team Valley headquarters.

This includes Corporate and Senior Management Teams, Corporate Services, Finance, ICT, HomeChoice, HomeRepairs, Operational Support and Leasehold Services Teams, plus the Property and Technical Services Team managing the company's £1m a week Decent Homes programme.

Additional employees are based at housing offices and other premises across the borough.

By Train: A 15 minute taxi journey from Newcastle Central station.

By Plane: The company's Headquarters are 25 minutes drive from Newcastle Airport.

By Bus: 'The Loop' number 94 from Gateshead Interchange and 'The Loop' number 93 from Heworth Metro station (approximately every 15 minutes during the day on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends).

The 'Team Valley Clipper' number 91 service also runs from outside Newcastle Central Station until approximately 9am and after 4pm weekdays. The service does not run at weekends.

By Metro: Nearest Metro station is Gateshead Interchange. From the interchange take the 'The Loop' number 94 bus service.

By car: Five minutes from the A1. (Accessible car parking is available at the office).
