Please use the links on the left of the page for further information.

  • Our Housing Offices
We have housing offices throughout Gateshead where you can get information and make payments.
  • Councillors
In this section you can find details on Gateshead Councillors.
  • Dealing with Nuisance
The Gateshead Housing Company is committed to allowing tenants peace and quiet at home. Find out how you can get help with neighbourhood nuisance problems.
  • Reporting Street Problems
If you notice a problem with street lights, roads, paths or rubbish then either telephone 0191 433 7000 or email enquiries@pwd.gatesheadmbc.gov.uk. Further information is available on Gateshead Council’s website.
  • Dealing with Rubbish
If you have bulky household rubbish or bagged garden waste, which will not fit inside your rubbish bin then you can telephone Local Environmental Services of Gateshead Council on 0191 433 7000 who will collect it free of charge.
  • Parking
This section includes information on renting garages, parking schemes and parking on the pavement. Further information is also available on Gateshead Council’s website.
  • Gardens
A gardening scheme is available for elderly and/or disabled tenants within Gateshead.
  • Estate Tours
Tenants and residents are encouraged to tour estates, blocks of flats and sheltered schemes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Demolition
In order to improve areas of Gateshead, or in cases where properties are structurally defective, it is sometimes necessary to demolish homes.
  • HomeTools
The HomeTools scheme was launched in late 2004 to encourage tenant and resident associations to start budget tool hire schemes.
