Thinking about how to “Fill the Holiday Gap” and keep your youngsters entertained over the school holidays? Then why not come along to the free activity and lunch sessions across Gateshead this summer.
The sessions aim to bring the community together, enabling parents and carers to participate in activities with their children.
“Fill the Holiday Gap” sessions are aimed at under-11s, their siblings, and parents or carers. The sessions include games or arts and crafts activities along with lunch.
Brian Kielty, from Neighbourhood Management and Volunteering Team, said: “Fill the Holiday Gap events actively engage residents and their children and help relieve pressure on families during the summer holidays.”
Places are limited, so booking is essential.
