The Customer Scrutiny Panel is made up of both tenants and leaseholders and carries out independent reviews of services provided by The Gateshead Housing Company. They identify positive practice and suggest recommendations for service improvements.
The panel currently consists of Clare Butterfield (mentor), David Chambers (Chair), Pauline Bedford, Michelle Williams, Pauline Hawkins and Flo Wood.
The panel decides which services they review. Previous reviews have included:
- Customer Satisfaction Surveys
- Reporting repairs
- Anti-social behaviour
- Customer Service in Neighbourhood Housing Offices
The panel has recently completed their latest review of customer service in housing offices. This was presented to Customers and Communities Committee in February 2019.
