We are committed to providing customers with the highest quality of service. We believe the key to this is recruiting enthusiastic, talented people with the right skills, knowledge, attitude and behaviour.

An opportunity has arisen in the Repairs and Maintenance team for the role of Plumber.

In this role, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and on your own initiative, carrying out all types of plumbing work.

Day-to-day, you will provide a repair and maintenance service to Gateshead Council properties and other buildings across the borough, ensuring a high standard of work is achieved.

In addition, you’ll need a working knowledge and experience of working in the construction industry, particularly in a repairs and maintenance environment. You should also possess 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above.
